With the specs and price of both systems released which one are you going to buy? Let's keep the fanboy crap to a miniumum. I acutally own both the 360 and PS3 but prior to the 360 I had the PS1 and PS2. I dont play games as often as I use to so it looks like I will only be getting one system. For me it's clear that the PS4 definitely looks like the winner. It's $100 cheaper and doesn't have that always online crap and registering or transferring game fees. From the comments I've read online I'm curious why anyone would choose the Xbox over the PS4 this time around. If you vote Xbox one please explain why. PS4 $399 no used game restrictions no always online requirement no transfer fee more and better exclusives Xbox One $499 used game restrictions transfer fees weird online checking in system every 24 hrs even for single player games
Leaning towards ps4 however kingdom hearts and battlefront will be on both platforms so I'm back thinking about the xbox
It pisses me off how greedy Microsoft gets. They have one good thing going and **** it up. I miss those msn city chats.
Here's a good comparison chart from the E3 thread. It doesn't list everything but has a good comprehensive of comparable items. Credit to BE4RD for finding it. Spoilered for large size Spoiler http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2...console_comparison_by_yamamoto114-d667kw7.jpg
a lot of big games will be on both consoles but the Sony does have Naughty Dog which develop some of the best games. The Uncharted Series and the new one release on Friday called "The Last of Us" has some amazing reviews from IGN and some big claims of "Game of the Year". Other huge exclusives include God of War series, Little Big Planet, Infamous, etc. Xbox really only has Halo and Maybe Gears of War as exclusives. Otherwise all the big games will be available on both consoles. Given the $100 price difference and the online and used game restrictions xbox has I just dont understand a compelling reason why anyone would choose microsoft this time around.
PS4. I can handle the online fee mainly because I had a choice last gen but don't have a choice this gen (not playing PC). It's cheaper AND more powerful, AND without stupid online measures? How can anyone say Xbox?
good comparison.. thanks.. One thing to note is it looks like the xbox one costs $100 more but will include the Kinect. PS4 does not look like it will include the PS Eye + Move.
I won't touch either one for a long time. PS4 is vastly overrated and MS dropped the ball with their policies. I'll stick with my PC for now.
No fanboy stuff, now vote between these two systems: One where I list in positive light One where I list in negative, mocking light
I'll get both eventually, but the first console I get will depend on launch titles. In the long run, I think I'll be getting a majority of the multiplatform titles for the PS4 this generation.
This is the debate I'm having with myself right now Either have a gaming PC and a WiiU or Laptop and a PS4
I don't play nearly enough games to warrant buying another system (I have a 360 and PS3). I'm in no rush to buy one as long as I can get NBA 2K on the current generation stuff for the next few years. Once that changes, I'll probably get a PS4.
I"m sticking with my PC. For $400 and $500. I can buy a lot of games with that money. Seriously both consoles offered nothing new and innovative like the Wii did. So I'll wait until something innovative that will revolution the game play with the consoles. I guessed if you want real competitive FPS gaming. You should go with a PC. Consoles controller are for less competitive people.
Good chart, one correction, Final Fantasy XV will not be exclusive to PS4 http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/11/e3-2013-final-fantasy-xv-comes-to-xbox-one
