The item was in perfect working condition and you stated you had multiple PS3's same model, how do I know you're not trying to pull a fast on me with one of your broken ones? Simply put there's no way in hell I'm giving you a refund. I've NEVER had an issue with but all of a sudden you are? Come on now.
Exxxxcuse me? You could check the freaking serial # for chrissakes! I don't know how it happened. Maybe it's from getting knocked around in transit. Ask moes if I ever complained about his unit... I haven't.
BTW... why did you bother with the above post if you weren't going to do anything about it if there WAS a problem? Why did you buy a slim, anyway, if this was working fine?
I got the slim real cheap from a friend and saw how much these models were going for on eBay. I didn't write down the serial # because I didn't think this would be an issue especially since it's worked perfectly for me during the time I've had it.
Well again, did you ever think that maybe it was damaged in transit? Love the accusations that I'm trying to swindle you without ever even contacting me to discuss.
Ironic... You sold me a broken 360 as well, one that LITERALLY had CD's and Pennies inside it for some kind of ****ty quick fix... Waiting...
I hope you guys paid Paypal with a credit card. You can always do a chargeback with your credit card company. Otherwise you may be SOL.
Two bad purchases in a row -- can we rookie this guy to stop him from creating new threads to rip people off with? We should've done this after the first time..
Since clutchfans has proven to be great place to sell his garbage, whats to stop OP from setting up a new account? Seems like the best way would be to post his personal information, but I'm not sure if that's allowed. Drexlerfan, if I were you, I'd ship the item back and file a claim through my credit card company.
Unfortunately it was an instant transfer through my bank account... didn't use a credit card. Oops... kinda screwed myself there. And the way he's been acting, there's NO WAY I'd send the thing back BEFORE I got some kinda of refund, even partial. I'm trying to look at it from the perspective of at least the warranty sticker is still on it, meaning it hasn't been opened... so at the very least, I can always pay $150 to have Sony repair it. Really sucks that I'll have to pay $150 more than I bargained for ($285)... but even if I were sure it were possible to get my money back, I'm not sure it would be worth the time/pain. This after already getting screwed with the whole johnmvp debacle . Can't see myself doing business through the board again.
If it was damaged in transit I would be happy to file an insurance claim through UPS, I did some research and they cover damaged items up to $100. Let me know.
I did have an issue with the GPU so I had a friend of mind put a heatsink on it I guess for one reason or another he didn't and instead did the penny trick. I can repair it for you with the proper method if you'd like.
