"Long ahead of schedule"... again, these were mandated by a 1992 law to be released by October 26. Amazed about the things Trump chooses to outright lie about that are so easily refuted...
Well, at this rate he will shatter the record... Trump made 35 false claims last week, including obvious lies on drug dealers and immigration Trump is now up to 1,377 false claims for the first 430 days of his presidency, an average of 3.2 per day. https://www.thestar.com/news/world/...ous-lies-on-drug-dealers-and-immigration.html
I think we lost our con buddies in here. They're already meth'd out from the double whammy of Scotus appointment and tax cuts. Locked and loaded to blame the gov when the financial sector collapses from the current dipshits regulatory rollbacks.
Trump continues to lie. 1. His supporters won't change their mind about him because of any of the lies. The next lie won't be the one that changes their minds. The lie after that one won't either. 2. Republicans in Congress will never do anything other than pay lip service to stopping those lies. 3. Sometimes covering his neverending font of lies detracts from the more significant news and issues. 4. The press should definitely still covering the lies. The reason is that nobody should think that it is okay and won't be covered. Nobody should stop caring about the president lying the way he does. It should always be pointed out as being a bad thing. Future candidates and the public should not accept it as business as usual.
They just need a 2 minute segment each day called the lie detector, talk about why each statement is a lie and then move on to whatever real news the dotard is trying to distract from.
As individuals and as a society, we don't like lies. When we lie, we try to hide it, we feel shame. We know it's wrong. That's feeling (feedback) keep us in check and it's a good thing we have this norm here and many places. But in some places in the world, it's different. Lies is so norm, it's acceptable and expected. It's even required to gain power. That's a backward society based on no-trust and yield no co-operation. Lose or win, nothing in between. But this isn't a productive and happy society - it's fear based and although the winner think they have strength, what they are, are fearful people that have to lies to survive. That's seem like where we are heading now with the POTUS and member of his cabinets lying without any shame. "Evil has no shame"
2 of Trump's biggest campaign lies have been to have Mexico pay for the southern border wall to revive the coal industry creating more jobs for coal miners while #1 has been discussed at length, #2, for the most part, has been overlooked. during the campaign, he repeated to rally crowds waving "Trump Digs Coal" signs. "I'm coal's last shot.", pledging to help coal minders w more jobs just the facts; more coal-fired power plants have been deactivated in Trump's first two years in office than in Obama's entire first term. https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/07/politics/pennsylvania-coal-plants-weir-wxc/index.html
