I haven't read through the whole thread, so my apologies if this has already been covered: What would constitute proof of racism to you? I think we have different definitions of "racist" and "racism". I'd genuinely like to hear your definitions, and what you think would constitute proof of it. (And if you want to hear mine, I'll give it.)
Well, definitely not circumstantial stuff like retweeting white supremacists, decrying the central park five, discriminating against black tenants, or leading the charge of birtherism against a black president. I mean, has he murdered a black person or anything? See, I didn't think so.
I had to watch that a couple of times to see exactly what was going on. That guy must have been a real dick because nobody cared he went into the drink.
I go by a standard dictionary definition. I think you will be hard pressed to prove he is racist. Otherwise there would be no debate.
What's odd is that by the dictionary, Trump is definitely a racist. Dictionaries define a racist as showing or feeling discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or believing that a particular race is superior to another. Trump does that across multiple races. So how is he not a racist?
It's not about debating without insulting. It's about arguing in bad faith where you don't genuinely believe in the stuff you type and just want to "trigger" people. If you have the time, go through the entire thread and you'll understand exactly what I mean.

Muslim isn't a race yet I , an atheist, still have random people make assumptions that I am and Sikh temples have been shot up multiple times for being confused as Mosques. Mexican isn't a race yet people shoot up Walmarts with a bunch of brown looking people in them. Your pedantic concern is not genuine. It's a stupid argument. If we called Trump bigoted, which we do, you would still b**** about it.
So, since the thread starter won't answer questions regarding his replies in the thread, he started maybe you will. While his statement that he wanted to ban Muslims from entering the United States isn't racist, are you okay with that kind of bigotry?
