I dont know much about him and I seen him play one time.

He is a 6'9 power forward that weighs 255.

But I do know that he can kick some ass inside. Look at his numbers that he had in 99.

    16 ppg
    17 rpg
    60% field goal shooter

He was runner-up to Alabama signee Gerald Wallace for the state's Mr. Basketball award.

He is #173 in the middle.

Wow, 23.8 points, 15.7 rebs and 5.4 assists per game according to a couple of other sites. Maybe that was for the most recent season. One thing I noticed while looking for articles related to Mario is an appreciation for the talents of Gerald Wallace. This kid is like the 2nd Coming according to most of the scouts and coaches that have seen him. Anyway, here're some blurbs and articles on Mario :

FYI, as a side note, I caught this blurb about a matchup between Darius Miles and Gerald Wallace on foxsports.com :

"And recently, Wallace capped off his summer with a monster performance at the AAU Junior Boys National Championship at Disney World. Wallace went head-to-head with Darius Miles, FOXSports.com's No. 3 player in the country. Wallace scored 27 points and pulled down 14 rebounds, while Miles got into foul trouble and scored zero points. He followed that game up with a 38-point performance. Wallace's efforts earned him first-team AAU All-American."

Hey, he's boxing out Neil Fingleton! (He's 7'6'') [IMG]

Up until the HS camps, Wallace was considered #1 by many. He doesn't dissapoint. Miles needs a shot, desperately.

Hoop-T, you are right -- he did eventually commit to Miss. St. He had originally selected Alabama, then changed his mind.
