It’s clear he is immediately immersed into a GM seat that is clearly on fire. Does 1. Is he in over his head too soon? Cowering under pressure (pebbles) 2. Is he handcuffed with his options? No money allowed! (Tilmans cheap Fake Marbles) 3. Does he give a good effort, but ultimately get worked over by savvy GMs? (Rocks) 4. Does he dominate the trade machine better than ghosts of Moreys past? (Boulders) Discuss predictions... I believe he won’t get a Russ trade done prior to the season leaving the only decision to send Russ home for the start of 20/21
He’s a yes man. So, Tillman’s fake cheap marble. BUT, he’s seen/been apart of every one of Morey moves. So, hopefully he got the boulders.
Russ is either traded for a haul that makes the team better NOW or he isn't traded at all. He's about to prove the doubters wrong. Spoiler
If Russ really wants out (as per reports), then there's no way he is on the team by the time the season starts. The longer a disgruntled player is on a team, the worse it gets.
Looks like his stones have turned lemons into the start of some delicious lemonade ... Wood is a great piece along with some draft capital that can be useful in trades if the band stays together... or if we start a rebuild
I picked boulders. Cause the Lakers have been kicking him in the stones for like 3 days. Dont get me wrong. Wood is a great pick up but it just seems like the Lakers are on level 5 and we're having trouble with the tutorial.
I think his job is to convince the two stars to stay while acquiring young talent on the cheap to keep us viable for the future, or in case of a rebuild. I think in a very limited scope, he has done an excellent job of that. What he inherited is not an easy job, by any means.
