I think I'm more excited about Dragic than T-Will or Thabeet. I think I'm really going to like this kid and what he'll bring to our second unit. And holy hell, Chase! I honestly didn't think he had it in him to rise to the challenge like this. Great job and let's hope he keeps it up. Poor D-Will. He's a great player who was making all the right passes, his teammates just suck. It will be pretty funny if the Nets win the number one pick this season and it goes to Utah...then Deron leaves anyway Fun game to watch overall. It's going to be interesting to see what the remainder of the season brings.
I think that comment was BS on his part. It's obvious someone, probably RA, told him he had to consistently take it to the rim to expand his scoring, especially now that he has the starting spot. I think he was told there was a good chance battier would be traded. And bud and battier's boxscore is a perfect example of how their impact can be very important in very different way. Both with +23 tonight with very different stat lines.

How do I lose if I have Super Star? Houston no superstar, yes?" I thougt Goran played well though he was trying to do a little too much. He had 2 layups that he missed and was cleary hacked. Great games by Bud,Martin and Luifa.
Williams was pressing. Hopefully, he'll calm down as he continues to get minutes. Dragic was solid, considering that he's barely gotten to know his teammates. Have high hopes for him. Chase? He's surprised me by having two great games in a row. Can it be a trend? We'll see. Lee may not get as many of Shane's minutes as I thought when Deadline Day was over. Martin with another "quiet" 30 points. The guy is unreal. Leadership? Luis and Chuck provided it. Both had excellent games. Luis always seems to play well against the Nets. Pity we can't have 82 games against them! Deron Williams may go off the deep end playing for the Nets and Avery Johnson.
Not sure if it has been said before but everytime I play my homeboys in 2k11 and Chase scores I yell white delight lol.
Hey, you know what, D-Will brought it upon himself so don't feel sorry for him. The only thing you should appreaciate him for is that he single-handedly ruined the Jazz.
I have very mixed feelings about the guy. He has all the physical tools to be an outstanding player for the Rockets, or for any other team, but he's yet, at least that I can recall, played a solid game for the Rockets. He'll make a brilliant pass and then toss up a bad shot (at least a shot out of his effective range) early in the clock, when he should have kept the ball moving. I don't know. In a way, he reminds me a bit of Vernon. You never knew which guy was going to turn up on a given night. At least with Max, it was more wondering if he'd have a good to great game, or disappear (except maybe his defense, which was pretty consistent). With Terrence, at least so far, you don't know what player you'll get from one moment to the next. That's a lot tougher on a coach. Williams must be driving Adelman at least a little crazy. My hope is that Terrence will calm down, gain confidence, and use all that talent in a consistently productive way. I'm still waiting.
Love the Lowry and Dragic backcourt, both compliment each other so well. I wouldn't be too down on Terrence Williams, he showed some flashes of the great player he could potentially be but this has to be the first game where he was in the rotation so its expected for him to be a little rusty. Budinger is unreal, if he can keep this shooting streak going then the Rockets are going to have a lethal wingman combo with Bud and Martin. Patterson was terrific too, hustling and going hard after rebounds and loose balls. Loved what he brought to the table on both ends of the floor. Jordan Hill and Hasheem Thabeet were eh but didn't really get enough time to show what they could do. Also anyone notice Chuck Hayes' near triple double? 8 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Chuckwagon going to work.
To be fair he's also rarely ever seen the floor. I'm going to wait a few weeks after we've seen T-Will get consistent minutes before I make any judgment on him.
Chuck Hayes with the near triple double. I like it! Wish I could've watched the whole game but it's nice to see players stepping into their new roles. From what I see, Dragic seems to be a solid pickup but it will be interesting to see how well he adapts to the system and plays the rest of the season. The future looks promising. Just gotta find/get that one superstar that can carry/will the team to the promised land!
As Terrence begins to get more minutes he will play much better. I'm not saying he played horribly, but as a few have mentioned, you could tell he was trying a little too hard. I think this is because, due to his lack of minutes, he felt he needed to make as much happen in as little time as possible. Once he sees that he will get consistent minutes, TheRealTWill will emerge
