Good win despite the Wizards being the dumbest basketball team I've ever watched on any level. Every player (outside of Wall and Singleton) seems to have no idea how to play the game. It's hilarious.

    And kind of depressing.

Get Budinger the hell out of here. Seriously. I'd trade him for just about anything.

And as for Hill, I'm disappointed. He's been crap since the first couple games of the season and I just can't understand why he can't put any of it together.

Rockets play with and without Lowry has been night and day for the last several games.

Only caught the 2nd half, but I'm sick to death of seeing guys like Wall just run into defenses and get calls. Half the time he travels and the other half he charges - if the refs didn't baby guys like him (and Wade and Rose) so much, they wouldn't be All-Stars.

The worst is where Wall got his "steal" from Patterson by running straight into him and knocking the ball loose. That should have been a foul on Wall.

Otherwise, nice effort by Dalembert. Would have been nice for the Rockets to have kept the 19 pt lead up to the 6min mark in the 4th - some of the bench warmers might have seen the court.

    Huh?

He came up with a momentum stealing steal and was great getting to the line.

Nick Young was a no show tonight so Martin did his job.

    Martin + Dalembert = a great combo.

    Martin really played awesome today.

Agree with both of these. Both are wastes on this roster.

Anyway, the Rockets' defense still worries me. Too many times they were broken down by defensive penetration. Transition defense is bad too. Their offense is fine and blossoming into consistency, but they're not going to win a lot of games giving up 106 points.

These games -- against the likes of the Wizards and Pistons -- are where they really need to buckle down, play hard and get the starters some much needed rest. They can't afford games against lesser teams to go down to the final minutes. It may be expecting a lot of them to ask for a sense of urgency, but it's needed.

Love the way Dalembert is playing. I knew he'd be a godsend for this team and so far he hasn't disappointed.

Ugly win at times, but Ill take it.

-Good job by Dalembert. However, Morey needs to be working the phones hard to find a backup after January if they really want to make a playoff run they need some depth at the 5. Jordan Hill, IMO shouldnt get a contract extension.

-Is Parson's the black version of Battier???... all kidding aside, great defense, and has really been a great complement to the lackluster defense of Scola and Martin. If he can work on his shot a little more he will be a solid starter in this league for many many years.

-Lowry, big shot to save the day again... are we really that shocked. Will probably be the biggest all-star snub this year.

-Very important game tomm against Detroit. Getting back up to .500 this early will be cruicial. A few more tweaks to the roster are needed but looking like a solid team that can make a playoff run.

I liked Parson too...8 boards is no cupcake. His lack of confidence shooting is bothering but that's not really his role. I think. Overall, I like the game he's played today...

I have been saying this for a while. Bud and Hill should not be back next season. They are liabilities when they are playing. Also, I am having serious doubts about Dragic.

They are fueled by a common hatred for the Sacramento Kings.

Uh... I've never noticed any of that.

I mean he's not really the HARDEST worker out there, but I wouldn't call him lazy. Certainly have not noticed issues nearly as flagrant as what you're describing here.
