Not a bad idea.I would to see him get a bit more experience and bring him back to the summer league next year. Do you know where he is playing and what his contract is like?
This guy looks to be the real deal i seen him play in a video it's kinda like a ally-oops he jumped up backwards and hit the back of his head on the rim and he has some mad hops though !! D-League All Star Game MVP 2007 2006 A-10 All Conference First Team 2005 A-10 All Conference Second Team 2005 A-10 All-Championship Team 2003 BB&T Classic All-Tournament Team Don't know how his game will translate into the NBA, but it can't be nothing bad. It's like every where he has been though he has been improving and by this i mean his numbers too have increased even in increased competition.

If this happens it probably means Landry is gone in a trade. I don't know where I read it but it sounds like Carl is a little frustrated and wants a bigger role. The problem is, while he is great at putbacks and shooting a decent mid range jumper, he still has major holes in his game. 1. Size - just not big enough to challenge bigger PFs 2. Defense - out of position a lot of D, gives up too many easy buckets 3. Bad post player - just does not get wide and create a good target If this new guy can do the same things as Landry, and is bigger, then by all means...go with it....and use Landry to upgrade a position of need...PG or PF with 3 ball range.....or include him in a package to help move TSlack. DD
Sure, why not? He is a $3 million a year player, a team's asset, why do you ask? I don't think he is a BYC player. DD
If it happens it would be this season's Loren Woods addition. Rockets have the roster and salary space to do this without moving anyone currently on the roster.
Are you sure? Why not, I thought that he could not be traded to the team that signed him but could be traded anywhere else. Here is the Rocket's salary structure DD
That's what I was thinking too. I thought it had something to do with the Restricted status and us taking the contract. I could be wrong, but that's why I asked.
I am curious as well, I thought he could not be traded to the team that signed him to an offer but was fair game elsewhere. Thus the Milwaukee rumors etc. DD
Thanks Worzel....I was looking too and could not find it......but Landry would probably approve a trade if it meant he could start. And Pops is 6'10" and 240 pounds ....a bigger PF........raw but very athletic. Wiki page for Pops DD
LOL - I always said that Dorsey would be in the NBDL all year, not sure what took them so long to send him down. But I get your point, maybe they just sign him and keep everyone. DD
