with Tari being out for 60 games and Sengun for over 20 this is really impressive.

 

u don’t get 3 years of lotto and 1st round picks, spend 60 mil in free agency, significantly upgrade at coach, and still be a bottom tier team unless you’re fcking up royally

I always felt there was never any reason why the Rockets shouldn’t have been competing for a play-in spot this year

 

True but keep in mind most lines had the Rockets at around 31 wins and most expectations from fans here was 30-35 wins being "good progress".

Glad I was wrong about this team this season lol

I think how they view Jalen Green going forward will be the determining factor of the team stuck around 40 wins, or possibly winning as many as 45-50 next season.

welp... didnt get that game or two OVER .500 but we had some injuries... I was in the 41-44 tier... im happy at .500 on the year - a nice morale victory even if shy of the play-in...


more importantly, YOLO was wrong - but again... lol

 

I was off by one! Couldn’t be more proud of our squad. Looking forward to this team next year.

With Jalen playing as the league’s best star for a dozen games, it’s not that impressive.

With Jalen playing as the league’s worst starter for 60 games, it’s very impressive.

 

As long as the odds are still at Over Under 34-35 W before the season, that is not hard to top.......
