Nope. 3 games ago, and that was last year, we were all calling for his head until he dug it out of his ass for a couple games. He is who we thought he was. A couple of games doesn’t change the fact he couldn’t be counted on to hit a jumper. 947.

As always, the absent guy on the roster is always the answer to Rockets' success

    - Is FVV "THE" fix? No.
At point guard, maybe only a ball dominant prime James Harden, Chris Paul who themselves are "the system" so it's not being the current system, can be a 1 player PG fix.

    - Does FVV help? Yes
Rockets now without FVV are a gentleman's sweep 1st round loss. With FVV, maybe a 2nd round team with a higher playoff seed.

FVV would help in multiple areas thats probably getting undervalued. Such as just putting the players back into their more natural positions. Amen at PG, is a stretch. Tari at 2, or even starting, a stretch. Durant at 3, stretch on defense. Durant & Sengun relied on as passer playmakers, is too much, etc

But a 32 y/o FVV should not be relied on as this team's Tyrese Haliburton & Cade

We suck on shooting, Fred is another bricklayer.

"Fix" is too strong a word. How can you expect a role player to "fix" a team's glaring issues? He will definitely help if he is fully healthy.

What will fix 90% of our problems is for Amen to shoot 38% from 3.

I voted "Mostly but still glaring issues"

And I'm not saying "Only FVV" fixes these issues but a competent, experienced point guard does.

Someone that can get the team settled into it's offensive sets and run those sets as a matter of routine, keep the turnovers down and get guys shots in their favored spots - that could be FVV or another experienced, NBA caliber starting point guard.

It doesn't fix everything, the elephant in the room is Amen's shooting. I'm not sure anything can fix that.
