The cop should be suspended without pay. The victim could have easily choked on a peanut thrown directly into his windpipe. Many people might think this video shows a person in power feeding a lesser person, but in fact this is akin to torture and frankly reminds me of an modern version of waterboarding.
How come you haven't posted anything about good cops? Apparently it's not news to you either. Sounds hypocritical. The reason why cops being good isn't big is news is because they are supposed to be good. Just like Dads are supposed to be good Dads. Moms are expected to be good Moms, teachers, firefighters etc. Everyone is essentially expected to be good, it's when they are not good that it becomes news, especially if it's caught on film.
LOL, the cops should probably be fired for throwing the punches but it was a hilarious video so thanks for posting it. IMO the little b**** got what he deserved, but sadly people getting what they deserve often isn't legal.
Agreed, it takes a certain temperament that most don't have. Same goes for teachers, there's videos where smart ass little bastards get smacked by their teacher and it's hilarious but those teachers probably should go to jail for it and absolutely should be fired for it.
A law was broken this seems like a clean stop the officer didn't do anything wrong unless he was it's true that you have to have ID in FL.
He didn't make up a law, the guy was being detained for jaywalking which is against the law and due to Florida's "stop and frisk" law, you do have to provide ID in that situation or you can be arrested for it. Honestly it might be a little bit BS to get ticketed for jaywalking.....but it is against the law and while the cop was a bit of a dick, he didn't lie (which is rare, cops lie all the time) about anything.
He wasn't driving but he did break the law by jaywalking so when the officer asked for ID he should have showed him.
It's still a lame ass reason to go through all that hassle, but technically the cop didn't do anything wrong.
