    Asking the right questions

CF has been on this guy since UNLV but he keeps getting cut by teams....Why do we think that is?

Always thought this kid had potential to be an NBA player since coming out of college.
Since he played for the Rockets summer league team he’s clearly put some time in the weight room. Would love to see him over Hartenstein since he’s a better shot blocker and is athletic enough to play off the pick n role.

CW is better switch defender too.

But Harty the better post player and post defender. Harty appears like he has the higher BBIQ and work ethic too.

The Bucks also cut him last season when they literally had only Lopez as a big, just fwiw.

Reasonable question, but it's worth noting that NO has arguably the deepest roster in the league. Arguably shy of top-end talent unless you're all in on Zion, but man, they have a LOT of dudes who can play.

We claimed Deyonta Davis off waivers. That puts us to the back of the pack right?

Players aren't often claimed off waivers so there is that!

Another big man who can shoot the 3 is sorely needed on this team.

CW has a low motor, had negative BPM last year (-3.3 which is god awful) so I'm guessing NO cut him cuz they want to develop foundational pieces like Jaxson Hayes. But we arent looking for foundational pieces, just warm bodies to fill the roster. Right now our only backup PF is freaking Anthony Benett, CW would be a nice gamble for us to take.

It should be pretty obv but TillMan doesnt want to pay the tax unless the Rox are like 1st seed by midseason. The best thing for Morey to do now is take as many gamble as possible and sign all the guys he thinks can be a decent player. If he signs like 5 of these min guys to take a closer look maybe 1-2 of them pan out and viola we got our depth on the cheap.

I don’t understand the infatuation with players that will only get garbage time minutes on our roster. I like the player and the idea of adding his skill set, but if he can’t crack anything with the Pelicans, why would we think he could do more here?

Jaxson Hayes and Zion are probably the 2 most explosive athletic big men in the league right now. They are both better than any big man on the Rockets squad.
