We don't need to hear you almost have an orgasm every time Novak gets the ball beyond the 3point line. Geez, the guy isn't going to make every shot. It gets tiring listening to the same old lines over and over.

It was the same way back when Eddie "the stroke" Griffin was on the Rockets. On and on an on about him only being 19. Guess what Bill, Griffin hasn't been 19 for several years and he still sucks.

so far he does look like a really good three point shooter. but I know what you mean. he and matt did make a good point, if that guy isn't shooting, he isn't helping, but that might not be true. he also grabbed some boards.

Er.. would you rather Worrel be like "Oh, that's nice, another 3, who cares.."?

Novak did seem to run the fast break pretty well, and he showed some hustle on the boards and follow-ups. He just needs to become a serviceable defender to become an amazing asset for this team.

You can tell Van Gundy is already expecting a lot out of him. Expect to see him get a lot of bench minutes.

I agree, he will see the floor a lot. More than I expected when they picked him. The thing that has impressed me is that he isn't as slow as I thought when they drafted him. I guess I was expecting Bullard-slow. He stays pretty active, he hustles, he's trying to do the right things.

I'm glad he isn't just sitting at the arc waiting for the ball. But damn his jumper is sweet looking. I had to TiVo it several times last night, especially the one he hit late in the game.

Yeah, even though I realized how silly it was immediately afterwards, as Novak was releasing a 3 in the Grizzlies game and Worrell said, "This is like a layup for him!" followed by the shot clanking, my first reaction was, "Goddamnit, Bill, you jinxed him, you b****!"

He really can be annoying at times, though...but not nearly as much as he is on Astros broadcasts.

All I want is for Worrell to stop constantly complimenting Drexler.

And I want them to get rid of Drexler.

    And bring back Calvin.

    And while I'm dreaming - I'd like a pony.
