He just needs a reset and a fresh start with a new series. He will shoot over 40% from 3 against the Spurs. Whether he's hitting the 3 ball or not, he is still effective at spacing the floor for Harden.
It's not like they were ugly. They just didn't go down when they were actually going down all season. Same with Ariza. The biggest problem is the confidence factor. If neither is confident in their shot, I'd rather start with someone like Lou who has short-term memory loss and is happy to shoot whenever left open. I'm not sure what it takes to get their confidence levels back up, but they need to shoot when they're given any space. No D is going to respect Anderson's or Ariza's dribbling abilities...
When Anderson is cold like this, why not sacrifice some three for some D? Bring in Harrell to defend Pau. Especially when the Spurs are restricting us to a half court offense.
His wrist is clearly messed up. That's why he didn't set any screens at the top of the key which he did all season. Just sat in the corner like a decoy.
because the philosophy is to KEEP SHOOTING so we get to go down in flames with the system, feast or famine. There is no in between, there is no grey area and finally there is no other way for us to win...at least against a team like the Spurs. Evidence that it's now 2-1 Spurs and we will continue to shoot ourselves into vacation.
He couldn't shoot 3p, OK! He couldn't defend PF, OK! But this guy got 1 rebound, It was too ridiculous! This dude is a bench player, but Morey gave him 20m/y, Morey is a garbage!
Still though...his "antijynx" game is just 13 pts wtf. We don't need a guy who shoots 13 pts 1 game and 2 pts the next, get this guy outta here.
i dunno what games you guys are watching but the ones i watch, ryan should be averaging 4-5 threes a games until the opposing team decides to stop doubling off him. like roso said an 'antijinx' game is only 13pts? all u guys were going on about how he can shoot deep threes and has a quick trigger. where is it? he's been wide open plenty of times and keeps passing it. i kept hearing about how u cant sag off of him or its an automatic three. in te okc series he was literally wide open and no one came rushing to close out, they just watched him and he bricked a wide open three. it looks like physically he has a quick trigger, but mentally he's slooooooow. i see him looking at the rim for awhile then pass it. its been long past the point of ryan needing to adjust for the po's. he has work to do if he wants to be worth his contract. he's been ok but he hshould be doign much better.
