For the first time ever being a Texans fan I can finally say I don't give a damn who lines up on the other side against us. Whoever it is they're victims.

This definitely isn't the same team that played Baltimore week 1, but both of these teams are really good in their own right.

Beating Baltimore is always about making Lamar air it out. Force him to throw it 30+ times and you have a chance, 40+ times and you are in the driver's seat. For that to happen it's not enough to stop the run, our offense has to put pressure on them. CJ will have to deliver 27+ points on the road against a defense that ranks 1st in scoring. Tough task.

KC? I like our odds even less here, but if it's gonna happen several things have to take place all at once. A career day from the Texans pass rush. Singletary carries it 20+ times for over 5 YPC. Zero turnovers.

Baltimore 100%. Let the Bills deal with the Bad Scary Man. Plus, that would send us to Buffalo if the Bills win and, some of the old old timers will agree, as a city we have some demons to exorcise against The Bills.

I think the Chiefs would be the easiest to beat, but neither team should be taken lightly. Baltimore is the 3rd highest scoring team this year and KC is 15th. Jackson has only thrown 7 interceptions this year and Mahomes has thrown 14.

That being said, I'd love to take down the best team in the AFC next week and beat Baltimore at home. I'd also enjoy beating Kansas City so we didn't have to see Taylor Swift anymore in the playoffs. What ever will be will be. We will know by tonight.

For Baltimore, Andrews is scheduled to return for next week after missing 2 months.
Ravens rested their players in the last game, then the bye week. 3 weeks of no contact. It has the makings for a close game.

In the playoffs you have to beat all comers and ignore the vagaries of the unexpected.

We won't know until tomorrow, technically.

I'd rather have Baltimore, and I don't see any way the Steelers have a chance against the Bills.

I would prefer the rematch with the Ravens,

we already have a feel on how they play and adjustments being prepared.

might have a different outcome the second time around--like with the Browns

Both are tough, and y'all kidding yourself if you think KC will be easier than the Ravens with Mahomes under center. Either way, I still think the Texans have more than a fighters chance to beat either team. I give them a good chance.

I completely understand this take, a second bite at the apple with a more developed team could very well lead to a good outcome. In either scenario the Texans will be heavy underdogs, but they have been playing with house money ever since making the playoffs at all so I'm not worried one way or the other.

When you have an elite qb you always feel like you can win. Weather in Baltimore next weekend: 28 degrees Saturday and 32 on Sunday.

We really suck at defending a running qb. Both teams present problems. One is great at it and one is very good at picking the right time to. Cashman or Harris are probably our 2 fastest LBs that can spy but Id rather have King play that role. Its tough sledding from here.

We actually did a good job against Lamar.
