when the game is on the line, I rather have the ball in Kyle Lowry's hand more than Brooks. Brooks is a better scorer and I rather have him take the last shot more than Lowry but he turns the ball over way too much. Kyle Lowry makes better decision than Brooks.

The best scenario is when the game is on the line, Kyle Lowry should be handling the ball with Brooks, Scola, Landry, and Ariza out on the court also. We have a better chance of winning the ball game if Kyle Lowry would create something for Carl Landry because as we all know, Carl has become our go to guy down the stretch. Scola and Brooks does a good job at keeping us in the game and Landry is the guy that will close out the game for us.

I think Carl Landry would become a more dangerous player once we have someone on this team that can run a pick and roll with Landry. Hopefully when Tmac comes back healthy, he can be that guy that makes Landry a lot better. Even though Tmac is declining, he still has the presence that team would not give him space and he is tall and a great passer. So when he comes off the pick and Landry would roll to the basket, chances are, the opponents would most likely double him and he is tall enough to pass over the defenders to Landry who would have an open lane to the basket.

 

Brooks averages a TO every 10 minutes, Lowry every 12 minutes. This means over the course of a 48 minute game, Lowry turns it over 4 times, while Brooks turns it over 4.8 or almost 5 times. Not as big a discprepancy as you might think.

 

2nd quarter numbers dont look good. Makes sense with both Dallas games and I think the Spurs when the Rockets opened with big leads then just got leveled the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Scola's 4th quarter minutes seem surprisingly low. Foul trouble? Or maybe just a sense of playing Landry late? Landry and David Andersen are the 4th quarter starters most the time over Hayes/Scola
