CLemen's temper is rising a bit.

He is mad at the ump. When the ump called him out on strikes Clemen's stood there in disgust and said something to the ump. And then in the next inning Clemens threw the exact same pitch and showed his disgust in his body language. He was probably saying to the ump, if that is a strike for wells, then call it for me.

BOOOOOO Get him out of the game. BRING BACK LAMB!!!!!

Ensberg fumbled the ball so he couldn't get the guy out at home, and then hesitated so he threw too late to first to get the runner.

No out. RBI single for Pitts.

    1-1 Tie.

EDIT: 2-1 Pitts. Wild pitch by Clemens. Runner from 3rd scores.... ugh.

Is it just me, or does Ausmus seem to hit into double plays every chance he gets?

Clemens just moved into #2 spot in total Strike Outs in the League.

Cool to see him tipping his cap twice, and he even took it off to the crowd. :D MMP sure can get LOUD, everyone in the building was in a standing ovation for him.

    Congrats Rocket!

If the rotation holds up it should be Roy.

Miceli has been pretty awesome this year. Hopefully Harville is well. If Redding can get things straightened out, or Hernandez can come take his place, this team is pretty potent 1-25.

Who would've thought Clemens would start 6-0?** (hopefully)

Anybody else prefer Lidge to Dotel, anyway?

When Dotel's fastball isn't working, I'm seriously worried. It's a problem when Lidge's doesn't... but not quite the same sort of crisis.

I was at the game tonight. Here's a pic of the actual pitch to strike out Mondesi and move into 2nd place all time in strikeouts:

    The Chump Curse is broken!

To anyone who watched the game on TV, how close were ALL those non-strike calls ? Cuz it seemed I could count one one hand how many called strikes Roger got, seemed like that ump wasn't giving him ANY calls whatsoever, I don't think any of his 9k's were called, all swinging ?

Anyways, nice to finally attend an Astros win!
