    "Radical Democrats’ impeachment squad"
    "politically motivated witchhunt circus"
    "historic day"
    "globalist elite"
"death knell for America’s auto industry"
    "stroke of bilateral negotiating genius"
    "BIG win for America"

Man Pete sure has a love for the dramatic. His word choice is something that I would expect out of bad Chinese rip off of a Harry Potter book or something I would expect from a speech from Hugo Chavez.

That name sounds familiar, where do I know him from?

    Okay lets look him up..........

Peter Kent Navarro (born July 15, 1949) is an American economist who currently serves as the Assistant to the President, and Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy. Originally serving as a Deputy Assistant to the President, and Director of the White House National Trade Council, a newly created entity in the executive branch of the U.S. federal government, until it was folded into the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, a new role established by executive order on April 29, 2017.Navarro developed an infrastructure development plan for the candidacy and presidency of Donald Trump.

Wait a second........ so the guy that wrote this article for Fox not only works for President Trump but ALSO wrote the plan that he applauding the President adopted......

That seems, well I don't want to say shady but useless? I think we can assume the writer of the plan would praise it.

So how did he get the job working with the President?

Navarro was invited to be an adviser after Jared Kushner, while he was researching China for Trump, saw on Amazon that Navarro co-wrote Death by China.

    What?

Ehh okay I guess... Not sure Kushner really should be having this kind of power.

So what does this Pete Navarro believe in from an economic stand point? I see he has been very accomplished in academia.....

Navarro's views on trade are significantly outside the mainstream of economic thought.

When told that the Tax Policy Center assessment of Trump's economic plan would reduce federal revenues by $6 trillion and reduce economic growth in the long term, Navarro said that the analysis demonstrated "a high degree of analytical and political malfeasance".[38] When the Peterson Institute for International Affairs estimated that Trump's economic plan would cost millions of Americans their jobs, Navarro said that writers at the Peterson Institute "weave a false narrative and they come up with some phony numbers."[39] According to MIT economist Simon Johnson, the economic plan essay authored by Navarro and Wilbur Ross for Donald Trump during the campaign had projections "based on assumptions so unrealistic that they seem to have come from a different planet. If the United States really did adopt Trump's plan, the result would be an immediate and unmitigated disaster."[40] When 370 economists, including nineteen Nobel laureates, signed a letter warning against Donald Trump's stated economic policies in November 2016, Navarro said that the letter was "an embarrassment to the corporate offshoring wing of the economist profession who continues to insist bad trade deals are good for America."[41]

    Well that is reassuring.

    Well lucky for Trump..........

On March 15, 2019, President Donald Trump announced that Moore would be nominated to serve as a governor of the Federal Reserve.[

In 2012, a Virginia court held Moore in contempt of court for failing to pay his ex-wife $300,000 in spousal support, child support and other obligations in his divorce settlement.[74] Moore did not respond to repeated court requests to make payments and failed to appear for a deposition before the court threatened to have him arrested and ordered him to sell his home to make the payments; the court revoked the order at Moore’s request after he made a $217,000 payment.[81][38] In January 2018, the IRS obtained a tax lien against Moore for $75,328 in unpaid federal taxes, interest and penalties, alleging Moore had filed a "fraudulent" tax return in 2014. Moore contended that his accountant made an error in improperly deducting child support payments and that the lien was the result of an IRS miscalculation,[65] though Moore claims to have paid the lien and Montgomery County, Maryland Circuit Court records show the case is closed.[82] In addition to the child support payments, the IRS also disallowed other deductions Moore had claimed.[81]

Moore did not contest Allison’s divorce petition which asserted he stated to his children, "I have two women, and what's really bad is when they fight over you" in front of her during their son’s graduation ceremony. Allison also asserted Moore was having an affair that he was "neither discreet nor inconspicuous" about, leaving receipts for dinners with his lover around the house and buying her a t-shirt with the words "Doing It."

Yeah, I understand that we put the Tarrif on the soybeans, china cancelled their order, we had to resort to SOCIALISM to pay the Farmers a fraction of what they lost, and where did we get that money? We borrowed it from CHINA.

So, do you understand economics? Or did you just learn something.

Growing pains. Now the farmers know there is risk and won't rely in China as a market. Hurts our enemy in the long run. Do you understand war?

    Are you ****ing kidding me?

    GROWING PAINS????

Rather than getting money FROM China for their goods, we had to BORROW it from them - this is not growing pains, this is monumentally stupid.

I knew I should not have hit "Show ignored content"

Unfortunately, not all that surprised by your dumbass answer.

Explain to us why Moore’s opinion should matter?

I’ve noticed you haven’t responded to any of the posts attacking the message of the source..... curiously

It's good to see the NYT taking a serious interest in the wages and income of typical families. Unfortunately, they have picked a bad measure to highlight in relying on the reports of Sentier Research.
