So, I didn't catch much of the last Rocket's broadcast, but I've noticed that Harris has seemed to disappear. Forgive me if I just missed something obvious, but are we left to assume he just hasn't made the cut?
I believe a player can't be cut when he's injured. That was the case when we signed Dion Glover a few years back. Maybe that's his way to keep a roster spot. Personnaly I don't think he has a chance to make the team with the addition of Artest and Landry.
and who won't play for at least a month... I tip Harris to make the squad - currently we only have 5 bigs --> it's not going to hurt to have a guy who can play the 3/4 on the roster - AND who is a pretty tidy player too.
Battier will miss the preseason but will be ready for the season opener. Season opener -> october 29 Today -> october 16 Conclusion -> he's not going to be out for 'at least a month'

Are you sure Harris can't get cut because he is injured? If thats true, Wafer and Strawberry are playing hard to get the attention of other teams.
Isn't Harris a graduate from Rice? If he does get cut, I doubt he'll have any trouble in a different profession. Major props for him going for something he loves though.
