I think when Lin comes back, it will sort of free up Bev. I always thought that this would work if he did not change his playing style - and he can't sustain last year's on the ball pressure style for 35+ minutes a game. Fatigue or fouls would surely kick in.

yup. the fact is, if bev doesn't rack up 5 fouls in 30min of high pressure, disruptive D per game, he is not doing his job and has no reason to be in the starting lineup.

mchale told him as much last year during the playoffs - if he lightens up or tones it down a notch, mchale will take him out.
