Pat Patterson will be call back up from the D-League Vipers. Damn and I wanted to see him play on this coming home games. Oh, well http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7332904.html
Great news. I like this kid. He has a toughness and skillset that is needed on this team. He is our future backup pf and heir to Scola but for now he can take Bud's minutes if he shoots just a little bit better.
I don't see the point, unless he's going to play SF, or maybe they know Yao Ming won't be able to play for a while. I would mention the T-R word (OK, the T-R-A-D-E word), but we've jumped the gun on that one too many times before.
I seriously doubt that. Hill might lose some minutes, but he'll stay in the rotation. Besides, Hill's problem is a lack of experience; I don't think PPatt beats him on that score.
Pat Pat won't crack the rotation or even the active roster. He's learned what he can from the D League and now he gets to practice with the big boys again. Taylor was called up like five times. I can't wait for Pat to get time, though. He'll be a real weapon once fully developed.
He will definitely crack the active roster. And eventually will get some minutes. He is legit and will eventually start in this league.
In Morey's 610 interview yesterday, he alluded to this move. He said that they were doing it to get PPat some practice time with the club and that he probably wouldn't see the floor. He also said that they have no plans to send Budinger down to the D-League.
This, he was clearly showing that he was to good for the D-League so the next progression in his evolution is to let him get practice time with the big boys on a constant basis. I will say this, December 15th is next Wednesday and Scola becomes eligible to be traded, not saying he will or Jordan will or even Chuck but this is good stuff to get the kid ready if there is a major move on the horizon.
