Would be a huge upset. Father time is undefeaded. Mosley didn't look good against the contender fighter.
He'd effing better. Mayweather's already calling Pacquiao out for beating guys Mayweather just beat: Oscar, Hatton, now, Shane. If Pacquiao has a hard time, it's really gonna ruin his stock.
Mosley is a grandpa, a 40 year old looking for his last pay day. Anyone expecting a close contest is fooling themselves.
I'll say this, Pacman better try to out box Shane and not slug it out with him. The last thing that leaves a fighter is his power. Pacman is not exactly Mayweather on defense so he's there to be hit. Margarito landed plenty of shots on Manny and he's slower than Shane. And remember, before the Mararito fight, everyone was saying the same thing. "Shane is shot. Shane is too old. Margaito is the top dog, he's too much for Shane." Well, we all saw what went down. With that said, I don't think Shane has his legs anymore and that will be his downfall. I think it'll be competitive for the first 3 or 4 rounds and then Pacman will just overwork Sugar. Will definitely be entertaining because of their styles. Very fan friendly fight and the majority of fans will eat it up. A small percentage dont approve of this fight so they'll be looking elsewhere for entertainment this weekend. Manny is like the Mike Tyson of this era. In which his fights aren't just fights, they're events. It doesn't matter to some who he fights, they're paying to see one guy. Honestly, I don't even see anyone on the horizon that will fill that void once the only real stars left, Manny and Floyd, retire. We should appreciate them while they're still fighting.
I like Mosley. Totally a nice guy but I think he will get his first knock out in the 5 or 6 round if he tries to trade punch for punch with Manny. Manny training been impressive for this fight so far. <iframe width="853" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/nL2lKBC7lTc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="853" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/q7JkxAs_X_M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="853" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/7J_YkwekuUQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
If this was Mosley in his prime I'll put my money on him, but its not. This could get pretty ugly for Mosley.
Did anyone catch Norm MacDonald's sports show on Comedy Central. It's really funny, and he does a segment with Pacquiao. He also bet 25k on Manny and showed the stub. And if you know Norm's history, you know it's not fake or a setup.
