    Is anyone following this story? Back in the late 90's when houston only had one sports radio station, the line up of Jay mariotti and " the Stinkin' Genius" was one my favorites. I even enjoyed reading his sports column back then. I then realised that he was flip flopping maestro.

    Well, Apparently, Jay Mariotti has been arrested for domestic violence. It's all just strange to me..what the heck is an 50 year old doing at a club? I could never envision Raymond pimp slapping Deborah. :p

    My Jay Marrioti pissed me off story

    Back when he was with Sporting News Radio, Tom Penders was coach the Longhorns. he had that great recruiting class with Luke axtell and chris mihm. Well as most of you know, tom and his recruits didn't get along, mainly axtell and penders was fired.

    well, marrioti gets on his show and starts ramming the good ole boy texas network for penders never fitting in down heeh in the good ole south and that's why he was eventually let go. the guy is a jerk

    Thats how it goes in Southern Cali. A local night spot here has occassional old semi famous has-beens making an appearance. I think its more about being "upscale" than it is about actual partying. Its usually the more well-to-do older types than stereotypical 50 year olds.

    No matter the age or maturity level, seems the bar and club scene is just trouble around the corner for all :)
