I really think they do. Delfino took 10 shots. What. I'd like to see it a bit more defined to the best players. The distribution of the shots on our team are really odd to say the least. Also, we don't swing the ball around nearly enough. It's just one pass then we try try ISO or do something, we hardly if ever look for the more open shot. We rely way too much on the 3 and the whistle. Something has to be looked at, imo.
If by "our role players" you mean "Jeremy Lin" and by "shoot too much" you mean "never should have been signed to albatross contracts because they are scrubs," I agree.
Rox didn't do Lin any at or putting him into this guy of a system with this coach. It's time to part ways, once Lin is traded everyone will be happier for it.
Why blame the players? Blame the coach. We have watched over 20 games and they have been playing the same way. If they don't develop an inside game, this is how it is going to be. I remember in the preseason where Mchale said that they will play inside out. Get the ball in the paint, by driving or passing and shoot 3's. Everything changed when Harden came in. Now we will live or die by the 3 and some occasional drives from Harden. No sets or screens. It is all standing on the 3's and wait for the ball to come to. Raptors showed them how it is supposed to play. Have pg to lead, running sets and screens, move the ball around, inside and out and always end up with a good shot. This raptor team is playing a lot better without Bargnani and Lowry.
