Even if Denver lose at Portland, they still need to lose one more to Utah or Minnesota for the Rockets to catch them.

Maybe they're hoping we lose to okc and get the 4th seed so they don't have to face us in the second round?

Surprised Denver is resting players against Portland because I think they will also lose to Utah on the road. OKC will be tough but I think we can win out

A week from now we'll be watching the Spurs and Rockets. Will be great to hear Worrell say Harden absolutely bamboozled DeRozan in a playoff game.

We need to win out: that means we are at least #3 seed. Beating OKC also most likely sends them to #8 to face GSW. #2 or #3 really doesn’t make much difference in this case. We can beat Denver even without home court

Yep, that last game against OKC is going to be a slug fest with OKC going all out to win. Not the type of game you want to have right before the playoffs with possible risk of injury, but this is the position the Rockets put themselves in.

Remember the 10+ games the Rockets threw away that they should have won?

The Rockets will lay in the bed that they made.

They've got little to lose, and could help POR catch us, which is their big Win, knocking us out of their bracket.

If GSW beats clippers, then clippers will also be thrown into the #6-8.

The unfortunate part is that Rockets last game is against OKC on Tuesday, while everyone else (Denver, Portland, Utah, Clippers, Spurs and OKC) have one more game on Wednesday that they can use to influence the final seeding.

Denver aren't even that good of a team to start manipulating games. I hope this backfires in their face.

All we have to do is win our next 2 games and we'll most likely get 2nd.

I hope Denver's strategy backfires and they end up playing Spurs first round with us playing the Clippers, who I think will end up in 7th. Denver and Spurs, GSW and OKC would be perfect! It's possible if Denver loses a couple, but I'm not holding my breath on that happening. Spurs have the easy road now to climb on up ahead of OKC and the Clippers.

Send in all the guns on Tuesday night! I want not only OKC, but the entire WC to see what the Rockets will be bringing in the first round. James has gotta rally the troops on Tuesday and not let that game slip through the cracks. I'm feeling a vintage MVP game from Harden against his former team.

I would rather have the whole team playing well with an easy win with rest than Harden having going bezerk and being exhausted trying to be MVP.

This. We all should remember what happened in the last game against OKC and be motivated. Just let Russ shoot.
