You can see something happened between Harden and Howard.

I mentioned this in game thread. Prior to the start of above gif, Howard wanted to run a play but Harden probably wanted post up, so in disgust Howard made that pass, you can see his walk after making that pass.

That's basically what it is. Half the bone headed plays are just lazy, like they don't care.

Neither player is a leader, but I'm guessing Harden is the main culprit.

Never seen a teammate get mad at Dwight. Harden on the other hand......

So Howard lured like a kid and threw his crayons on the floor because daddy said "not now, later"???

    I'm not buying that.

Looks like the "stupid" disease is more rapidly infecting the team.

speculation. You're likely merely projecting your own anger of Harden onto his teammates.

Besides, has it ever occurred to you that a role-player getting mad at a teammate is a flaw in itself.

Oh, and further, watch how Harden treats Jeremy Lin after he airballs a game-winner against the defending champion Heat

Howard looked angry when Harden did not want to run at all. So he threw the ball without any care.

I guess Dwight was just returning favor to the guards who can't throw him a pass. :p

It is more interesting than game itself, isn't it? :(

You mean the quick dap? Nice, but not significant.

And, no. It's not necessarily a flaw for teammates to get upset with each other. Depends on the circumstances.

I don't really like Harden, but I wouldn't lie on him. Brewer gave James a look during the playoffs when Harden attempted to chastise him for not hustling. The look was like, "fool please, practice what you preach". You could tell it wasn't some one time thing as far as Brewer's attitude.

Not surprising though, Harden didn't attempt to guard Batum the previous year on a fastbreak in the closing minutes of an elimination game... playoffs.

It's very obvious James is no leader. The defensive effort he mostly displays can't inspire anyone. You saw the Vine vs the Knicks. You really think Capella wasn't thinking, "damn, man"?

Harden pointed to Lawson. He was telling Howard to pass to Lawson. Not sure if Howard was reacting petulantly to that or it was just a lazy pass.

You don't really need to do much more than that. More could be patronizing sometimes.

    That was enough.

He walked over extending his arm for awhile, and got Lin's attention. Lin was walking away, not really looking for a teammate to console him. Harden persisted.

Would you mind using that word from now own, unless we have more definitive proof. "upset" is different than "mad" to me. And I'd still say it is a flaw for role-players to get upset, since they are largely in a support role.

I think my take on that stems from all my time playing team sports and collegiate doubles in tennis, I don't recall ever getting mad at a teammate. I was too focused on hating the opponents and getting mad at myself. So I simply don't understand why anyone would do it, especially a role player vs the star who has all the pressure on them. And in doubles, I was the star carrying the team, and never got mad at anyone but myself and the opponents. And in recreational sports like Ultimate Frisbee, there were some real dicks on my team, and still focused on supporting them (or ignoring them).

    Again, circumstances matter.

I don't know if any of your teammates gave a blooper-type level (Shaqtin a Fool) effort. And if they did, was it a trend instead of something abitrary?

It's hard to tell if it was disgust or laziness from this gif unless I see the whole game (which I didn't). Probably Dwight being Dwight.

What would be the "disgust?" Harden pointing to Lawson?

I don't think the OP posted this with the question of whether Howard was upset or not. Rather, probably just simply how lazy we are vs Kobe in the second clip.

I thought OP was implying Howard acted in disgust with Harden and just tossed the ball haphazardly, but like I said, it's hard to tell with this gif.

The laziness is on both players - Howard for his lazy pass and Harden for just standing there seemingly disinterested.
