So I worked with a guy for a year and a half or so who once told me, "Always allow for 6 minutes for an old man to take a piss. Two minutes to find it. Two minutes to start and two minutes to finish."

At the time it was pretty funny, but I wonder how much truth there is. Because I've seen older guys in the bathroom and their struggles to take a wizz. It makes me sort of dread getting older for reasons I never really would have anticipated. I mean, it doesn't happen often, but you know how good it feels to finally relieve yourself when you have been holding it for wayyyy too long? Am I going to be robbed of that pleasure by time?

I don't know how many 50+ or 60+ members we have on this board, but those that are here and don't mind sharing, is urination now a chore for you? Do you long for the days when you could simply whip it out and let fly?

Sounds like the same script for Young Men and Sex. Girls, always allow 6 minutes for a young man to have sex. 2 minutes to find it. Two minutes to start and two minutes to finish.

But you'll have new pleasures to enjoy..........like when you sit down to take a crap, every once and a while, your balls will hang all the way down into that same ice cold toilet water your turds are floating in.

The only thing I've noticed is how impressive it is that they can usually go hands free. I feel like Bull Connor at a civil rights march.

Is it not common knowledge that the prostate enlarges are you grow older making urination more difficult?

the biggest thing I've noticed growing older is that it is much harder to control the stream. It goes where it wants to go and you'd better have everything out of the way if you know what i mean.

I' m 43. I haven't noticed much difference. It takes me longer than when i was younger, but it was a caffeine thing. I used to drink a LOT of caffeinated sodas and i would pee more frequently. Since I quit caffeine, I pee less frequently, but when I do, there's a lot more liquid coming out, so I pee for a longer time. But I don't struggle to pee, and it certainly doesn't take me two minutes to find it.

Yeah, I knew that this is the cause ("It's not a GOING problem, you have a GROWING problem"), but I guess I thought this wasn't the case for everyone, or that it wasn't as pronounced as it seems on some.
