Oh how the mighty have fallen (Metallica)

Black album is a great album. I’m not sure why metal people dislike it so much. I talk to kids who won’t even listen to it because of all the **** talk. Didn’t know they remastered it, will check it out.

 

Have heard a subset of the covers for the anniversary project. They range from bad to meh. (Weezer, Rina, Ghost, Mac DeMarco). There's even a JBalvin one, where he did latin rap .

From a technical perspective, listening to the covers, it makes one more appreciative of the originals.

 

So who won...Napster or Metallica?

 

Yeah, I feel like it became hip in the 2000s to hate on the Black album, just because it was successful. It's an amazing album and I still love it. I'll have to give this anniversary thing a listen.

 

Metallica is jointly worth 900m.

Sean Parker is worth 3b.
Sean Fanning is worth 100m.
