This was an infuriating series. Great pitching in most of all 4 games, then sh*t from the bullpen and zero bats.. good God

Also, pretty disgusting to hear cheers every time the yankees did something great. I hate that they filled our stands as much as we did.

The loss is squarely on hinch. Stupid stupid ****ed up decision to bring crap ass Harris in after Devo dominated. He's so stupid sometimes

“What prevented you from going with Giles?”
    Hinch- “I picked Harris.”

Why was Giles in the question? Obvious why he didn’t bring Giles in. It’s because Giles sucks. Why would they let him off the hook with that stupid question?? The only question is WHY NOT STICK WITH DEVO??

Then, after Harris walks the leadoff batter, he leaves him in for TWO MORE hitters - both of them reached.

    Stupid ass mothaf****

Yeah I think the reporter knew the answer to question but Hinch basically said Devo pitched his role and left it at that.

Bottom line is will harris has to do his job. How is it hinch's fault? Its not like will has been terrible so far.

Well that’s a horse **** answer because Harris didn’t pitch his role. Hinch is being short about it because he knows he ****ed that game up by himself.

Harris has already proven not being closer material.

We tried this in previous years.

Even when he was having his All-World stretch a couple seasons ago as the 8th inning guy, he wet the bed once switched to the 9th.

    This is already known.

Devo can pitch multiple innings. This is already known.

We all knew it was a bad choice to go to Harris instead of sticking with Devo. Hinch can be infuriatingly stupid and/or stubborn.

I agree that Harris has to do his job, but Harris also has a history of not being able to close, and I think Hinch should've recognized that and put a guy in with a greater chance of success (e.g. riding with Devo or letting someone else pitch).

I'm the biggest Hinch supporter out there, but he effed up big today. It's one thing when you expect a guy to perform and he fails, but if you look at this thread, once Harris got the call everyone knew what was coming.

Check the score googling at work saw 0-3, 4-3, 5-3. Then top of 9th, bases loaded with 0 outs, and W.Harris still pitching?!?!? Then saw the final score. Can't blame all on Hinch, but he does falls in love with pitchers like Hoyt and that journeyman we have right now. He makes his team happy regardless situation and score. I hope we don't have starting pitchers vs batters in the clubhouse that is how Denver Broncos self-destructed.

Harris is a mental midget who will never be trusted with the 9th again.

Giles is a head case, but at least was able to do this job at some point.

Devo has also had lesser numbers in the 9th, but he could also use confidence in regular opportunities.

It’s not an ideal bullpen right now.
