So I guess you also think Mancin would vote for Gabbard over Sanders?

Your logic seems to be that just anybody will vote for Gabbard because she is running 3rd party and they might not like Sanders or Warren.

You also seem to forget that there is some overlap in Trump and Sanders voters.

Hillary would do well to keep her mouth shut. But Tulsi’s behavior is odd, in regards to what team is she really playing for.

Maybe she will turn GOP and go after a different base. According to reports out of Hawaii, she probably would lose to her Dem challenger anyways.

Maybe she is a useful idiot like Jill Stein. I don’t know but I don’t like her in the same manner I don’t like Beto after his senate run.

To her credit (did I just say that?), it seems 90% of presidential candidates this year are in the Senate, which sucks.

She knows right now she can make some degree of a power play.

Either to position herself for VP or a high cabinet position or to capitalize in the commercial/media markets.

Manchin needs to switch parties at this point honestly.

Having said that, I cannot blame Manchin at all...... a lot of democrats feel the same way about Bernie Sanders.

The Democrats are playing a dangerous game.

Manchin is providing good representation for his WV constituents.

In a more sane world, Manchin is a moderate Republican but that creature has been extinct for the last decade.

Tulsi on The View yesterday to disput the lies spread by some. I would have liked her to answer the questions more directly rather than just defending herself. In the last video here Tulsi repeats that she won't run 3rd party...

If you read his posts across multiple threads his logic is actually that if you support impeachment or don't vote for the most unpopular Dem candidates an avalanche of moderates are going to vote for Trump. In reality there should no non-starter non-starter enough to vote for Trump for anyone who is an actual moderate.

Not surprising. She obviously thinks there is a base of voters that hate Hillary, support Trumpism, but will vote for her in the DEMOCRATIC primary somehow to get the nomination.

I’m skeptical about that base of supporter really existing in any meaningful way. Especially in Iowa, NH, and SC. If West Virginia was one of the first primary states maybe her strategy would make more sense.

For many Republicans, there is no Republican primary they're interested in voting in because Trump is a shoo-in for the presidential nomination. So they may as well play the spoiler in the Democratic primary.
