[Official] Texans Offseason Thread

I look for him to be very up and down but the good news is Babin is playing well and we have not even seen Weaver yet so it's not like Okoye will left out there because we have guys who can play if the young guy struggles.

 

My sources (Mark and Andre on 610) tell me that he is ahead of schedule on pass rushing but struggling with stopping the run. I guess that's to be expected from a rookie DT who is already in the starting lineup.

Tough to judge how a DT plays because they can do so much without even showing up in the stat line.

 

Okoye gets a pass because he's a rookie. He'll get his turn at getting piled on next year.

 

not to mention he's just a couple months past 19...

 

If fourteen qualifies as "a couple", then OK. Amobi turned 20 on June 10.

I understand that's inaccurate. He's "past" 20--by two months. 20 yrs, 2 months old. He's fourteen months "past 19". "Understand?"

LJ says he probably wont be ready for the opener. He may play a little, but wont be in full force. Nice.

 

What he meant is he won't need to be at full force against the Texans D.

 

Actually he just said he won't be 100%, I think he'll play as much as he needs to .
