Lol at the Hopkins trade finally making it clear to all FAs that you don't want to sign with Houston. The only way you sign, is if they way overpay you, as we've seen. Completely done with the Texans.
I don't know. I'm guessing NFL players are a pretty tight knit group where you could call someone on the team and get a pretty honest answer on how things are ran. But the Texans sure aren't winning any PR battles right now.
Yup, used up and now the Rams are ready to spit him out. 3.8 YPC, [Kirk Cousins voice] you like that? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...move-forward-without-their-star-running-back/ According to Mike Silver of NFL.com, the Rams "want to move forward without" Gurley and they'll consider cutting him if that's their only option. "The Rams have paid some other guys and want to move forward without him," Silver said of Gurley. "They may cut him if they can't find a trading partner when all is said and done."
running backs lose it really quickly... I remember this rb from Arizona who was amazing until like 2015 then boom he came spiraling down.. wonder what ever happened to him
Are you saying gurley isn’t a top 5 RB? Zeke Saquan CMC Henry ? And don’t say kamara we all saw what happened this year after Ingram left.
Rams should hold on to Gurley another 3 years, at that point just give BoB a call and he will trade for him in exchange for Watson
They should be on the phone with BOB right now. We'd trade them Watson for Gurley EZ and throw in two 2nds and a 1st.
The more players and fans speak out against O'Brien, the more of a chance he'll get fired. But in a Texans way, it'll probably be after the draft and halfway through minicamp. Jaelen Strong with strong words (pun?). Another report players called a top D target (probably Harris) and told him it'd be a mistake to go here. Not good for Houston football. Does Cal care?
I don't care about top 5 or top 10 or who the best RB is. RBs are not that valuable. You can find 'em anywhere. Run them into the ground, then let them go. And I damn sure don't trade my top 5 ALL-PRO WR for one (one on the decline no less). But here's Bob O'Brien ... let's keep trading/investing in running backs!
Yep. Entire FO needs to be cleaned out. If I'm owner I clean out the entire FO and even ask Watson (And Watt) if he's willing/want to stick around for rebuilding. If he does, cool. If not, get some GOOD draft capital for him and move on. That's the only way out of this mess now.
I would do whatever possible to keep Watson anyone else can go but not him. Him keep as much of an oline as possible but 10 years of no 1 pick and we may not get another Watson
This is a PR disaster. BOB is going to run off the great players and deter any potential talent from coming here (unless we significantly overpay).
Wouldn’t doubt it but O’Brien will go first Cal will chose Watson over O’Brien for sure. I mean he has too right?
