    McClain_on_NFL In exchange for the third-round pick, 93rd overall, the Texans got from the Chiefs a fourth-round pick (102nd overall) and a fifth (144).

    I don't think they have made bad decisions or trades in the draft, but they haven't done anything amazing either. I can't really say the team is markedly better than it was last year and to me that's a problem.

    Edit: Extra 4th and 5th rounders are nice, but it becomes much harder to hit on your picks at that level.

    If Kareem Jackson reaches his potential and Tate does the team will be better.

    I don't know why everyone loved Gerhardt over Tate/Hardesty/ so much. Before the draft they rated about the same and I like Tate's pedigree doing so well in the SEC, the conference known for it's defense.
