Don’t even think this game matters lol well it does but I see saints taking care of the titans and then that’s a wrap. Good ole Drew Brees gonna have another great game against that secondary.
On paper, this can be sneaky if the Texans think they can waltz into Tampa and just kick their asses. Vegas disagrees, starting the line at HOU -1, and that's since gone to HOU -3/-3.5. https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/ Further, Tampa's really got nothing to play for, unlike Houston. OTOH, they've won 5 of their last 6, including beating the Colts, and whipping the Falcons who have lately been surprising people. DVOA has the Bucs superior to the Texans. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teameff/2019 In particular, Tampa's average pass offense is the best part of their offense, and I don't need to remind people about the Texans' pass defense. Also, Tampa surprisingly has the best rush defense by DVOA. Watson will have to do his usual magic. Is Fuller able to play, or did he get another hangnail? I don't have faith in BoB at all. Still, I'll be a homer, and pick the Texans to win a close one in a shootout, but not cover. 30-28.
I'll be at the game. Not sure if that is a good thing. I went to 3 Rays games this year, 2 against the Astros, and Tampa won all three. At least someone other than BoB can be blamed if they lose.
There's a reason Tampa has a 7-7 record. Winston throws almost as many interceptions as touchdowns. I'm sure playing with a fractured thumb wont help him any. All Watson has to do is play smarter than he did the last 2 games and we should win the turnover battle.
Bucs have a lot of talent on offense, but they’re also pretty banged up. They don’t really live up to their talent even when they’re healthy, so unless the Texans pull one of their patented head scratchers of an effort, they should win this game. Having said that, Houston is so unpredictable they could just as easily get blown out.
The most Texans thing to do is for them to lose the last two games of the season but still make the playoffs because the Titans couldn't beat the Saints. I think they'll win though and end the season 10-6.
Well considering that the most optimistic members hoped this team would end up 8-8 with a tougher schedule prior to the season beginning, going somewhere between 9-7 and 11-5 is well above expectations. Yeah they should of won some of the games they lost, but what team doesn't feel that same way? We are the Texans, it could of gone much worse.
