The best way to block him is to keep making quick passes so he can't kill your QB and get the run game going. Doing those things makes pass rushers hesitate for a second rather than just going all in at the QB every down. Long developing plays help pass rushers, so I'm guessing that's what BOB will call a lot of.
If we lose against Denver then I would be really disappointed, especially with Keenum as their QB. If we can play a clean game, and not make stupid turnovers then we should win big.
Gotta admit, on some level I'll be pulling for Keenum to put up big numbers this week because **** BOB
Believe me, I was so excited when we drafted him, and loved him at UofH. I was all for us giving him a chance to start instead of bringing in a rotation of other quarterbacks. He broke all college records with that arm, and I don't think he got that chance here to learn and grow as a starter. I like Keenum, and want to see him succeed! My point was he isn't doing as good as Watson this year, and has thrown a lot of interceptions. That's why I think the matchup favors us. Unless of course Watson ends up being the one throwing the interceptions. Denver's defense might cause him to make ill advised throws or hold the ball too long and get sacked. I hope not.[/QUOTE]
