That game was absolutely insane. Had some family there, I was not that lucky.. however, like I said earlier, cardale jones had the 3 most impressive games as a buckeye (imo) and followed it up with a trash year. I will definitely be watching every move stroud makes this year, I’m just hoping it’s not even a discussion because Mills balls out haha.

Kind of like some of the throws Mills made against the Chargers.

Literally, there’s one to Cooks on the left sideline that is eerily similar except done against pros

Yall both suck, btw. Like, for real.

One guy with all the hate, one guy with all the love.

    Annoyingly so, both of you.

We can argue about the exact same thing for 18 weeks and 243 bbs pages...or not?

Neither of any of you have said anything new in about 4 months.

It may have been mentioned once or twice or 597 times, but why can't we just wait and see?

What are you rambling on about.
Your random ass quotes and wrong thread posting sucks. Like, for real.

Just because you want to agree with all the guys promoting a college QB when we have a young high upside QB on our team, go ahead. I’m going to support the players on this team.

    Don’t like it? Who cares.

Just rambles. Wouldn't care but it cloggs up the bbs for actual discussion.

It's great to have the same exact argument over and over and over again. Have fun with that.

Conversation about our young potential star QB is what the Texans forum is for.
    Is it not?

So you would rather people clog up the forums with talk about players that aren’t on the team?

Weird that talking about our team and players is clogging up the forum, yet not bringing up any talk about the actual team is ok.

    You're right, nevermind, sorry. Really.

I've just had a weird 2+ hour talk and think with my flake-ass Austin brother about my dad, deceased, with Mother's Day upcoming, planning things.

Watching sports while looking at old pictures and such....

Sports and sports forums should be a place to release. Not feel worse.
    I’m sorry

Thank you so much. It's a strange place to be in.

I do have actual thoughts about the things said earlier. For later.

Can't wait to talk about the Texans with you later.

Peace man, I know it's rough been through this with a selfish freaky sister earlier this year.

As he should - Stroud is a true pocket passer and would thrive in Peps system. Im expecting Mills to do well in the Stanford offense because you know - he's a Stanford QB! Shouldnt be hard to cut the string at the end of the year if he doesnt play well IMO.

Not to leave out Mills so here are his throws vs the Chargers. TD to Conley was in stride NICE THROW. His throw to Dorsett was a better catch than throw IMO. After revisiting the tape Mills wideouts played great for him.

Great time to revisit the highlights from Mills first season!!

Theoretically with Pep bringing in the Stanford offense Davis Mills should seize the position. I really hope there can be a consensus among fans at the end of the season if Mills falls short and we have a chance at a more talented QB in the coming draft in the same vein as skeptics embracing him if he plays well. Just discussion people no need to draw battle lines.

edit: sorry for the blackout vids - couldnt find twitter equals to post. Did find some more quotes though!
edit2: I removed the "bucket" comment as I watched the replay a few times. Wasnt a true 12 to 6 drop into a window, but still good placement. What Stroud did however was drop it into a 1x1 box. Thats pretty damn hard.

The issue is Mills has just as much talent if not more than both Stroud and Young.
Mills and Stroud are very similar archetypes. With Mills having the bigger frame.
Young has more pocket improv skills but is very small.

None are runners, but all 3 can move.

Mills made some absolutely wow throws, against pros. Stroud has more talent at his hands than Mills. Same with Young

It’s also weird to say the throw to Conley wasn’t a drop in the bucket, it was 45 yds on a dime into a basket. With elite coverage.

Saying his receivers helped him out or bailed him out is backhanded as it gets and just not true. He threw his receivers open.

Wilson and Olave didnt even play! Sure there are some great replacement level players, but still notable that his 2 best targets for the year chose to not play that game (obvious reasons).
