Molina seems to have gotten a lot of run in the early spring. I kinda figured he was a release candidate. Home runs are really the only offensive stat I pay attention to in spring games; can’t fake hitting it out. That was a good looking swing.

I keep triggering Rafael Landestoy when I see Leosdany Molina for some reason.

That's spectacular. I'd be in favor of adding maybe 5 more seconds on the pitch clock.

Pitch clock is going to make the late west coast games way more tolerable

I don't think it's needed early in counts but would like to see it with 3 balls or 2 strikes just to limit the plate appearances ending because of the rule.

Urquidy has been getting knocked around in his showings so far. If Dirden continues to impress, they should consider trading Meyers and Whitley and/or other pieces for low end SP. We don't know how long Lance will be out and Hunter Brown hasn't proven he can hold it down as a starter yet.

Why do we even need a catcher until there are two strikes or a man on base. Just shift him into the outfield. All in Analytics.

Sounds amazing, hopefully this isn't used as an excuse to fill the 30 minutes gained back with commercials.

Ikr. Many pitchers tinker with command to see what they can learn and do. He may be just getting ready for team Mexico as well

Except last 2-3 months last season and in the postseason, Urquidy was striking out guys and not walking people.

I read from someone watching the game that his velo was a little low at 91-93, but it is early and that’s not far off his yearly average.

Now Wainwright the other day looked like someone who’s totally washed up with significantly reduced velo

I think these are the tweaks we will end up seeing.

The White Sox last year purposely had their guys avoid launch angles in their swings because they wanted to cut down strikeouts.
