    Bunch of random things in here:
    1) It has been 90 years since the last AL team won 100 games in three consecutive seasons with 2 WS Championships over that span. Yankees have never done it. This was mentioned to Hinch.
    2) Fastballs are 4 mph faster on average than at turn of the century. Fastballs are thrown less than ever before. There is no such thing as a fastball count anymore (I think he exaggerates this point, but fastball counts are fastballs less than they used to be).
    3) More teams are using closer by committee.
    4) Shifts are not just for lefties any more.
    5) OF shifts are becoming more a thing.

    Overall Two Conclusions can be made from the article:
    1) It sucks to be a hitter now.
    2)It sucks to not be an Astro.
