Missing the part where that was a road game which these refs favored. This is a home game now with Warriors on the road.

Is this a way to increase variance?

We need to be aggressive as heck because refs tend to swallow their whistle.

I wouldn’t mind some corruption if it is in our favor.

Craig probably can’t say exactly what he means/wants since he’s an employee of the Rockets. I have a feeling this was a “diplomatic” response.

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/2008/0...-donaghy-phone-calls-to-second-ref-raise.html

Donaghy picked Lebron and Rockets to go to the finals. Maybe Donaghy made another call in the Rockets favor

A good point has been made in this thread. All teams still alive in the playoffs have a Green on their team. Good thing we picked one up in the bargain bin this season.

Same here. I won’t be watching the finals and I will be canceling my NBATV.

Unfortunately, no. The better story is for LeBron to beat GSW in seven 'thrilling' games for one more title before he bails on Cleveland for....Houston, setting up GSW's revenge in seven 'thrilling' games.

    **** this officiating.

I agree this is ridiculous. This is exactly what happens with no accountability.

When the players AND coaches vote a referee as being the worse overall, you HAVE to take that into consideration. It's inept not to. To turn a blind eye and roll that Ref out in one of the biggest games of the year is downright appalling.

It's disrespectful to analytics that show he is one of the worst
    It's disrespectful to the players
It's disrespectful to the game of basketball

    Disgraceful NBA, shame on you.

The NBA wants the players, coaches, and owners to be 'respectful' and not lash out and talk crap about the referring.. but then turn around and appoint a referee that the players and coaches voted as the worst overall in one of the biggest games of the year... How dare they ask to be respectful over anything when showing such disrespect.

No other ref was even close in the survey. There was no close 2nd. Foster held a double digit lead.

Golden State represents the 6th largest economy.... do you really think a Rockets/Cavs Finals is good for business....

money is money at the end of the day... we already know the league has been busted in the past for fixing games (they screwed the Kings out of title)

the Splash brothers and Lebron.... its already set in stone....people who think the NBA isnt rigged like WWE are delusional

when we look back.... 10 years from now... one of the refs will testify in court about screwing the rockets in game 7.... game 6 rockets/warriors was called worst than kings/lakers game 6

I am happier with this group of refs than I am with having to listen to slurping Reggie Miller one final time. Can"t stand him. Surely TNT can do better than him and Marv Albert.

It's actually rather simple. The NBA doesn't care about its officiating. That's the reason.
