Bailed out by the ump. The hits weren’t that hard hit, but once Scott got ahead in the count for the most part he didn’t even throw competitive pitches.
I could see the lefty King getting a shot. He’s actually had some decent moments with decent pressure. Need lefties against some of these potential playoff matchups. (Or they put YOUSAY there if its a short series).

Scott is Montero 2022. Remember Montero was way under 1.50 era for a vast majority of the year before shuffling at the end. You could tell he was barely holding on, even during the playoffs.
I definitely expected Stanek to be “nearly benched” that postseason . His ERA was fools gold and other guys in the pen had better stuff and were pitching better.
King is definitely worth carrying against teams like the Orioles and Red Sox (if they make it somehow). I’d rather have him than Ferguson.
