    He could have reached for it with his glove hand, it would have been awkward, but he'd have had a hell of a lot better chance of coming down with it. Either way, I like the effort it took to get close, even if he made the wrong decision in the end.

    LOL, what a convincing argument. You're wrong of course, but that's okay. Bregman made 2 mistakes on the play, he failed to read the ball correctly so he ran to the wrong spot AND he attempted to make a bare hand catch instead of going for it with his glove hand. There's just no excusing either mistake.
