I wonder if Brantley is done for good. It’s been well over a year since the surgery. I guess the offseason is gonna tell the story on that.

 

He probably needs to find a 35 and over rec league where they play 2 games per week for 10 weeks then have a round robin tournament.

I just recently watched that movie again. It was a really good movie……in 1997. In my opinion, it hasn’t stood the test of time (that one Ben Affleck scene almost single handedly kills the whole movie). I do give it nostalgia points because it takes me back to my young adulthood a bit. I like the world better in 1997 than I do now. Anyway, I felt the same way about American Beauty. These seemed like timeless films when they came out but seem a bit cheesy now.

 

A Matt Damon film from around that time that is still good is Rounders.

LOL. Rays had the final out of the 6th inning on a K, but a passed ball allowed him to get to first. They switch pitchers and Toronto scores 4 runs with those 2 outs. 5-4 Rays

Nothing ruins a good film like maturity.

 

2 outs, Guerrero up... Trying to walk him but ended up throwing a wild pitch to allow the runner at third to tie the game. What a waste. Just walk him for the .236 hitter coming up.

Now 6-5 Blue Jays. The Rays relievers have sucked almost as much as Framber yesterday.

With this loss, watch the Rays mail it in now happy with their Wild Card #4 seed.
