I said Blum was better... I said I don't care for the constant Bagwell tangents (unless the game is a total blowout and there's nothing left to talk about). Berkman is trying to hard to provide an explanation for every single happening.
I like both of them, different points of view and both insightful and entertaining. Definitely not questionable.
I do like Berkman but damn, I have to think he would bring it down a notch if he was in the booth more and loses some of his enthusiasm.
Bagwell does it... but isn't trying as hard... and usually brings up a comparison or former teammate or former player or former situation to make his point.... and then comes the tangent story. I did like the Greinke = 04 Clemens comparison today. Hits spots. Sets up the batter. Not the electric stuff it once was. Doesn't give in. I do understand all the pre-hatred to Berkman... but he isn't just phoning this thing in.
