No matter how this game turns out, this inning will already live in infamy.

Oh crap. I wish we had a reliable situational lefty in cases like this.

Springer in the midst of MVP season and it appears he's getting plagued by the injury bug yet again. Sucks.

Busting ass for a foul fly ball in RF, slid feet-first and grabbed his left leg. Limped out to RF and then asked out of the game.

Chasing a foul ball, he slid and grabbed his quad immediately during the slide

Same. How bad did it look? I imagine since he was able to walk off he'll at least be good for later in the year?

Did he have a chance of catching it? Or was it a pointless slide?

Awkward tail-first slide going for a foul ball...which nobody got to. Seemed to reached for his hammy, quad, or knee. Had to pull himself out of the game after it.

Guys, at least the recently injury Aledmys Diaz also didn't get hurt on that play where he very well could have. Sterling silver lining?

Probably nobody was going to get to it. However, there were three players converging on it, so that might have slowed some of them down. It's a damn good thing we didn't a have a three-Astro pileup. Still sucks.
