I don't know what was more exciting: stealing generating an extra base out of nothing or throwing out Mahtook at 3rd.

We got ourselves an interesting game so far.

Good having this lead. Fires is pitching well enough and the offense is showing a pulse.

Stros need a 10-game winning streak and/or a couple teams to go 3-7.

Both exciting plays. Pick Altuve because his was 2 extra bases and more rare an occurrence.

I feel like Springer is drunk tonight lol or I'm just shocked when he doesn't make every play on D.

True, so he cancels himself out so far. Fiers just throws way too many wild pitches. I feel like he leads the team.

Gattis should have had that, but that doesn't take away the suck that is Fiers.

Word on the street is, George is tired.

Could be true because he's never played this many games in a calendar year (he's currently tied for majors GP leader). Injuries his first 2 seasons prevented a high amount of usage.

Statistically, ERA-wise, Fiers did well tonight if his runner doesn't score.

Let's see how it unfolds with MF....

Fiers had a decent start. Dammit Feliz.

On the plus side, Smyly is surely out at this point also

edit: this is the inning to do it. Jepsen is so hittable. Guri HR?

Love watching Jake field... he's very great at that.

Soon as I hit send, Rays laced a one hopper to the wall. Feliz isn't having a good season, but he's still promising.

I don't even know what to say. Super hindsight.

Went 6 innings, 2 ER in an efficient 80 pitches. Only walked 1, K'd 5. Bottom of the order due up. Why is that so egregious?
