Astros continue to suck in Tampa Bay.

    Fiers with the uninspiring performance.

Not how a team should come out.

What is it gonna take for this organization to realize Fiers is done as a pro pitcher? He's absolute garbage yet they trot him out there over and over ! I'd rather see one of those prospects Lunhow refuse to let go of !!!!!

I still don't understand how playing in Tampa was a compromise to this whole mess

It wasn't a compromise I'm still baffled why they chose Tampa

I seriously can't express my disdain for the rangers any more than I already have.

When one side is unaccommodating... you then have to take whatever else is available.

Astros would rather play in Tampa, forcing both teams to travel but without a possibility of a rainout... than give the Rangers 3 more home games.

It is the best thing for competitive balance... when the Ranger refuse to accommodate.

Things looked good in the 1st with 2 on and no outs.... then of course we hit into a double play and all the momentum evaporated.

He's sucking and he's not great, but I'm still ok with him "as a pro pitcher". From May 20 until July 21, he had 12 starts. Went at least 6 IP in 8/12, and gave up more than 3 ER in only 1/12. He had a hell of a run.

I don't mind him as a 5th starter...ideally he'd be a 6th man that fills in due to injuries. And I think that's kinda what he is now. Point taken that next year and beyond, Martes could take his role over.

    Mike Fiers is jus
He's JAG right now... I don't think he has another gear in him like Peacock happened to find this year.

He also adds nothing in the bullpen except long relief... I highly doubt he's on any of the playoff rosters if there aren't any further injuries.

Doesn't his contract end this year? I just think we can bring up anyone that will do better than him at this point

I don't feel like the Rangers lost anything though, whereas we did.
