He is the leader of a team that just tied an NFL record for most consecutive points allowed in a playoff game (41). If Cal McNair and the McNair family have any pride and care about what the Texans’ fans want, O’Brien is fired ASAP.

Sadly, 0 chance. Best we can hope for his Cal bringing in an independent GM (not one that has ever lived in Massachusetts), and forcing BoB to bring in an OC from outside the organization. Romeo is going to be allowed to "retire". Then BoB gets next season to get us to an AFC championship game.
Why would you want that? You have a franchise Qb and a line that will improve even more next year . We just need a head coach that doesn't do irrational things at the most important time. It shouldn't be such a difficult decision for Cal.
As my coaches told me coming up, if your opponent is doing something that annoys/upsets you (e.g. talking trash, celebrating, etc) then give them a reason not to. Teams take on the personality of their coach more times than not and this team simply is allergic to seizing the moment and putting their foot on the throat when given the chance and that is due to who their coach is.
Normally after such a historic loss, you think about moving on and trying to get better in the offseason... but then you remember GM O'Brien and 0 picks in the first round for the next 2 years. Kill me already.
The Chiefs are a better team than the Texans because Andy Reid knows how to generate elite quarterback play and score lots of points against anyone, and Bill O’Brien doesn’t. It’s not because the Chiefs outclass the Texans in talent. Also, the most important Chief that didn’t play in the regular season meeting (Chris Jones) missed today’s game as well. There was no excuse for this to not be a competitive game.
