    May want to check your math on that one... edit, I meant World Series.... how quickly one can forget.

    In the end, I agree. It doesn't matter what names are on the back, only results. I also think the 2019 staff was ultimately less reliant on an elite back-end bullpen, but had one nonetheless. This years team having an elite back-end bullpen is a welcome/devleoping story that the starting pitchers who max out at 5-6 at the moment will very much benefit from.

    Kikuchi has very lopsided righty/lefty splits. Opponent OPS is over .900 against righties! So.... yah. We didn't see the usual Kikuchi tonight.
