It is hard to know. Online I have seen a number of people claim that she isn't AA and that she has faced no hardships. I find it somewhat believable because there were a number of people that argued that Obama wasn't an AA because his father was born in Africa and his mother was white. At the end of the day it is absurd, although I don't know how many people REALLY believe it.
There are some gray areas in the METOO# movement, and at times double standards. Having said that, Obama said it in a very careful way and he has a pre-existing relationship with Harris. For the most part it is simple, be respectful and be aware of boundaries.

Sorry why are you claiming she is not African American? Her father was from Jamaica (African-Jamaican?) and she was born in Oakland, CA. Doesn't that make her 1/2 African American?
I think her record as a terrible prosecutor and attorney general is more germaine to the conversation about her suitability as a potential president than her ancestry or how to describe it.

If you wanted to dig dirt I'd go for something a bit more obvious, like the charge that she slept her way to the top by seducing, and then dumping Willie Brown or that her conviction rate for felonies was extremely low due to her incompetence and the culture of corruption she supervised.

They're already starting to cannibalize one another on the left. Just a bit, but it's early. Or, at least, prop up candidates they like. The Democrats have to get a candidate they can all stand behind, because Trump's 38% + Electoral College math will show up (barring some sort of indictment that FOX News can't completely spin).
